CRR Volume #59
Welcome to Volume #59 of Cincinnati Romance Review.
In this edition we have an inspiring collaboration for you, our readers.
On the one hand, Dr. Juan A. Godoy-Peñas and Dr. Azucena López Cobo curated a special dossier of peer-reviewed papers on “Literature from the Exile After the Spanish Civil War.”
And on the other, CRR’s editors present you with a selection of poetry, nonfiction, book reviews, and miscellaneous essays on Spanish literature and film and French theater, respectively, to bookend the volume. Written in various Romance languages, the selected pieces deal with themes of resilience, (mis)communications and the points where our cultures meet or cross each other.
We hope you enjoy all Volume #59 has to offer!
